I've been a fan of the Holocene Era / Human Era calendar for a few years, since I first learned about it. This video ties its Year One to the construction of Gobekli Tepe, but I had previously read that its Year One was set at the end of the Pleistocene Ice Age (give or take a few centuries).
However, this is the first time I've seen human history depicted using the Human Era timeline. It provides quite a different perspective. I knew I liked this calendar in theory, but now I'm loving it in practice.
And I didn't know you could buy actual calendars like this! That's how I found this video: a friend of mine posted it on Facebook after they received their copy of the 12019HE calendar. I'm very tempted to get one of my own!
