There's something mildly amusing in the nazis' deciding that they would carry out an offensive, an offensive which turned out to be the last meaningful offensive they ever carried, against the western allies being basically a repeat of what they did 4 years earlier, whose main effect was being giving the USSR, who the nazis feared and/or hated much more than the west more time to take up more of Germany than they otherwise would have.
