      The figure given for the expense is apparently questionably high anyway, according to an interpreter working at the EU: "200 million is an insane amount of money. But I think we need to understand...

      The figure given for the expense is apparently questionably high anyway, according to an interpreter working at the EU:

      "200 million is an insane amount of money. But I think we need to understand how they [speaker of parliament] came up with that figure."

      So it's just the usual... wanting to be a great big kingdom but actually caring very little about those outside of the mainland
