    In my personal favourite sport (disc golf), Natalie Ryan won the women's division at DGLO this week (she is a trans athlete), and it has sparked some "discussion" online. In reading through some of this discussion, I came across this piece about Lia Thomas, which I found quite interesting.

      Thanks for posting this. IMO it's pretty fair coverage of the subject (unlike so many others things I have read, especially in comment sections online). And I'm also happy that it mentioned Joanna Harper's research, which I have quoted several times in previous discussions about this subject whenever someone tries make it seem like the decision to exclude trans athletes is "obviously correct" like all the transphobic asshole would have you believe. Because the truth is that it's far more complicated than that, even if all you focus on is the potential competitive advantages aspect of the issue, which isn't as drastic or clear-cut as most people might assume.
