    I wrote a paper about Stonewall and LGBT rights while getting my gymnasium diploma (I guess similar to a GED in the US?) but had never even heard of him. Took 8 more years to remove homosexuality as a disease here in Denmark, in 1981, which is really frightening - not to mention transsexuality was removed only recently in 2017.

    This man should be admired for fighting for us all. We still have a long way to go for equal rights, opportunity, and acceptance.
