    I mean, what did he expect? On the other hand, he's probably free now to chose his own university. Though that freedom came with a price. I suppose he could probably sue cause of discrimination,...

    On the other hand, he's probably free now to chose his own university. Though that freedom came with a price. I suppose he could probably sue cause of discrimination, but I don't think he's got the money for a lawyer. Considering how toxic his life seemed to have been up to this point, he should probably cut ties to the best of his ability and move far away. He inadvertedly did that anyway with the surgery, most likely.

    This doesn't make the actions of the people around him and the college any more deplorable. But all props to the young man to carry on despite being doubted along the way.
