In the US there is a lot of those too. Their key job is to atop suicides by people just like Dave.
The “I don’t know” bit honestly pisses me off because if you do that assignment with all that leg work and legal risk not being able to actually damn well contact a proper organization or support group for LGBTQ people is just sloppy and ignorant
