It would be nice if we lived in a world where racism wasn't so pertinent in our society, but at the end of the day I think giving people who are physically upset about their bodies the agency to reclaim some control is a good thing. Maybe in another few decades society will be more accepting of diverse body representation in a way it isn't today and less people will feel the need to surgically alter their bodies to offer themselves some reprieve.
I for one am glad that I do not suffer dysphoria in this way. I do not like the way that I look, but that dislike is so deep that I feel no need to actually change anything because I feel it is a fruitless endeavor.
