Still sick, been a full week. No solutions other than knowing 5 things it's not. BUT. My little guy is doing the emergency warm healing bean applications to my legs and I love him. I appreciate that he settles in to try to help me feel better.
While you can't see the actual beans in these pics because of the angle of the photo and the application of beans to legs, his beans are all pink. These pics were all taken on different days, as it is best to receive multiple applications of warm beans for best healing results.

My girl Nova (aka Nova kitty) is on her second night at the animal hospital. Discovered Monday that she has diabetes and pancreatitis. She's on fluids during the day, but hasn't eaten yet, even with anti-nausea meds, painkillers, and meds for her blood sugar. Her glucose was over 600 (the scale is similar to humans) and is down to about 300 now.
I can't sleep because one night was ok, but now she's still not eating and it's night two. And she's scared and hiding being there and she's never been the "scared" cat. And as soon as I try to rest my brain just thinks of her, hurting and scared and sick and I don't want to lose her. We lost Captain Jack in January to kidney failure. But I don't want her to suffer either. The vet has been optimistic, but I am just scared and worried and sad and exhausted. We'll have to change up everything to take care of her at home, and I'll do it if I can only get the chance.
ETA, my orange boy Pippin heard me crying and demanded snuggles. He is a good cat
