      I'd heard of people hanging out of the windows in Gamla stan at Christmas-time, but hadn't given it too much thought, let alone considered it a budding global phenomenon.

        I've been living in Stockholm since 2007, this is the first time i hear about it. This seems to be their homepage for 2023 (the link says 2022, but the page 2023)...
