    You'd think if they wanted to bring expats together they'd just... Say "Expat party" or whatever the Russian equivalent would be and not "Face control: White."

    I mean, I'm also not racist (like they claim to be) and I would never say "Only white people come to my party." When wanting to meet like minded expats. Is there a language barrier going on there? My Russian is, at this point, essentially a pile of rusted dust so I've got no idea.

The only flyer image I could find was in English though, and the line beneath "face-control: white" was "dress-code: white." 'Face' in Russian is Лицо but I think it can also translate as 'person' in some contexts, and контроль (control) is a pretty flexible adjective (if you took Russian in school, you may recall контрольная работа, 'homework').... So I'm thinking probably racist?
