I have been reading Alison Green's work advice blog, Ask A Manager for over a decade. It has provided lots of good advice and the opportunity to think through usual and unusual work situations ahead of time. She also carefully moderates the comment section on the blog, so it is the rare exception to the "comments suck" rule –– a valuable resource of additional information and ideas.

The linked article is a list of reader–submitted stories about kindness at work. I found it a pleasant and encouraging to In an attempt to post some positive stories, I chose to share this with the Tildes.

It got me thinking, since these stories are all about in person coworkers, and they're all about spending time with each other in the same room. I ought to put more effort into my face to face relationships too. Not necessarily coworkers though lol. Call up some old friends out of state and plan a get together sometime, I could use that for sure

Huge ++ to Ask A Manager here. It's been my daily read for forever now and I recommend it to all the friends I possibly can!
