While this article was clearly focused on exploring some of the negative sides (which are definitely important to consider and understand), on the opposite side of the coin: Digitalsoju TV has a really positive outlook ongoing video series where they dine out with and interview North Korean refugees living in South Korea that is well worth checking out too, IMO. It has English subtitles BTW.
