That's very cool! I hope you write something in Portuguese one day.

I agree with you. I sincerely appreciate that Buzzfeed has chosen to use it's success from making lists to making quality content. That's the way business should be.

This didn't exist when I was in high school but man I wish it did. I feel like having the experience "forced" on me would make it easier to approach it blindly as an adult.

You are so on target with anxiety. That's been my problem in my previous tries. I'm going to try and emulate your perspective and be bored by it too! Thank you for sharing. I hope all goes well for you and you make it to your 50k count!

I have a Chromebook now so I'll likely be writing primarily on Google Docs. What are your writing plans? By hand? Scrivener?

I like that they're a little bit textured (rather than super smooth) and it has all of the essential keys I'd want.

Journalist Barbara Demick explores the transition in her book "Nothing to Envy" about 6 North Korean defectors. It's brilliantly written and I highly recommend it.

Are there plans to make a mobile (android) app? I would definitely participate more if I could access the site easily on my phone.

If you have an instant pot, you can do this exact same thing but just cook all of the ingredients in the pot on high pressure for 20 minutes. It'll take more like 45 minutes (takes a good 20 minutes for the pressure to build) but it's still way faster and comes out perfectly every time. I love making chicken tortilla soup this way.

    • Chicken breast. I can make a perfect one in 10 minutes and then eat it plain or add a bajillion things to it - parmesan cheese, marinara sauce, pesto, cube it and toss it in a salad, slice it and put it in a sandwich... options are endless. I really love to get those pre-mixed salads that come with toppings and dressing and then throw a chicken breast on top and sometimes I'll add avocado or bacon or a hard boiled egg. Recipe Here

    • Broccoli on the side. I like broccoli in every form but for a quick cook you can toss a slice of cheddar on top and nuke it in the microwave for 1 minute and voila - cheesey broccoli. Buy a pre-made dip of spinach and artichoke and you can just dip broccoli into it. Always a yummy snack.

    • Non cooking things - a packet of prosciutto always works in a pinch. You can wrap it around a stick of mozzarella.

I bullet journal in a Leuchtturm. Occasionally I post my layouts on instagram. I've been keeping a two week on a two page spread since January and I'm still loving it. It's the perfect amount of space to accomplish everything I need to and the most satisfying part for me is filling in the boxes when I've completed something - especially from my to-do list or habit tracker.
