I think because it can also be a cry for “please notice others”. People flock to subs and forums that glorify suicide and depression, but is there someone trying to reach out to these teens? Back when I was a mod, I had a macro that I stole from @tiz to post to people that were suicidal. There were many times when just showing enough interest that I posted the macro, people changed their mind or sought help. For me, the focus should be to please notice the signs others are sending out.
