What I find especially interesting about this is that most of the "good" people experience from these communities doesn't seem to be tied to the religious mores at all. In fact I have strong suspicions that, as long as they remain plugged into modern technology, the internet, and pop-culture at large, they're going to have a lot of trouble maintaining the religious values they espouse over time.

But the things they seem to enjoy of this sort of life has a lot more to do with simply living a lifestyle oriented around community rather than focused on their individuality and consumerism. The church anchors that and gives them an organizational framework to organize around, but the church itself doesn't seem to be the thing they enjoy about it.
