    Seriously, though, this is really kind of cool! I would love to do something like this if I could speak Italian enough to find good people to hire for fixing them up.

    For some reason this article made me think of a horror movie. “An American couple buys a cheap house in a remote Italian village, only to discover that dark secrets lie in the apparently welcoming community”. Like an Italian Straw Dogs (Sam Peckinpah).

    Other than that, great idea!
