Israel is murdering Palestinian journalists in Gaza – The pattern of killing cannot be denied. Is there a lack of sympathy because the victims aren’t American or European?

Holy shit, targeted missile strikes at journalists is just insane. This is just straight up american encouraged israeli genocide of the Palestinian people.
I get why you would write it like this, but I think including some nuance - that, for example, the US has repeatedly urged Israel to be more targeted - would be helpful. The US is not encouraging génocide.
I wouldn't personally say that the US is "encouraging" genocide, but they're not exactly availing themselves of their options to force the Israelis to stop their subjugation of the Palestinians. For example they could make further military aid to Israel conditional on the removal of all West Bank settlers and serious attempts to create a Palestinian state.
Oh and of course no more assasinating journalists with snipers and missiles.
The US supplies weapons to Israel. Has it stopped supplying, or at least threatened to stop, because Israel targets non combatants?
If the US actually imposed conditions on the aid they are receiving that would be one thing, but we don’t. We can say to be more targeted, but as long as Israel does not listen and we continue to provide them with materiel it’s meaningless.
I think there's plenty of nuance in my statement. I think a minimal to no nuance statement would be "American taxpayers are actively performing the genocide of the Palestinian people". I think i was pretty kind in my flowery language tbh
At least Blinken has been visiting on behalf of the US to encourage Israel to calm the fuck down when it comes to civilian deaths. It seems we've toned down from "We unconditionally support Israel" to "We support Israel*" * some terms and conditions may apply
Which is far from perfect, but I understand the difficulty of cutting off a major regional ally after decades of support.
