    Does anyone have any examples they can share of criminals admitting to using information like this to commit their crimes? I know you generally can't be too safe when it comes to protecting your family/home/kids but am just generally curious about the incident rates of things like this.

      I'm also curious about this. My suspicion is that it's overblown. I suspect that most crimes are crimes of opportunity, I have serious doubts that most criminals are doing the type of planning...

Obviously your bumper stickers don't directly say, "Hey I'm going to be out tonight," but like the article says, if it says your kid plays football at the local high school, it doesn't take a genius to figure out the parents might go to the game this Friday night.
