It’s dropping over 70%, beating Black Widows 68% (which was a day and date release) and also beating Batman V Superman’s 69%. It’s the type of drop Morbius had. It’s pretty catastrophic,...

It won’t even match the gross of the first Ant-Man.

This felt like a movie that they retrofitted to introduce Kang into, than the big mega event film that introduces us to our heroes and villains. Kang could have sat this one out, and it could have been Modok or some evil nobody out in the field, then you have a post credit sequence where they are called before all of the Kang variants to judge their fate. Feels more like a Fantastic Four adventure movie then an Ant-Man heist flick, but I'm not sure it could have saved the writing if it was based around them, short of the novelty.
