The tone of this one doesn't work for me. I am intrigued by the premise of a power flip between a terrible boss and a subordinate. It's a hypothetical that a lot of people can have fun with if they've ever had a bad boss.
I wasn't gripped by the preview, though. I don't think the tone is working for me, and I'm not buying frumpy Rachel McAdams.
If this was about the power reversal between them, I'd expect the boss character to be more three dimensional so there's room for development on both sides. But the preview makes him seem so one dimensionally douchey that he seems comical and campy, like the kind of character that is used to tell us about the main character and then is quickly discarded.
I get the impression this is not going to explore character but just set up a series of situations where she does gory things and gives her boss tough love.
