I guess I've been living under a rock because I had NO IDEA HE HAD A STROKE 14 YEARS AGO! He's one of my favorite actors and I got to see him as King Arthur in the original Spamalot opening on...

He's one of my favorite actors and I got to see him as King Arthur in the original Spamalot opening on "Broadway in Chicago" in late 2004.
He's still one of the best parts in the best Stallone movie (though I've heard it was his [Stallone's] most hated, albeit briefly, until Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot) Oscar, a key late childhood/early teen memory in Home Alone 2 (my first interaction with him, quickly followed by...) and Clue.

Also first time I learned another female had a crush on me when I watched RHPS at her brother's house who was a friend of some coworkers. She kept looking at me weird any time there was something funny or awkward or ... anything really, and I realized in retrospect, it was very similar to Michael Cera's thought on the "Stink Eye" in Juno. Yes, I give all the credit to Tim Curry for that one. And maybe Susan Sarandon...

Anyway, thank you again. Now I love him even more, and I'll quit rambling.

Thanks for posting this and bringing me up to date.

Damn, has it been 14 years already? Time flies! And ditto, I absolutely adore Tim Curry, and also got to see him in Spamalot too. Although I went to the West End (London) production. He was amazing!

Even watching that, he still is amazing but... damn, that hit me in the severe hurts. :(
