Midweek Movie Free Talk
Have you watched any movies recently you want to discuss? Any films you want to recommend or are hyped about? Feel free to discuss anything here.

Spiderman 4 came out on streaming recently so I got around to watching it. I thought it was pretty good but not impressively so. 7/10.
No in depth analysis or review here, just continuously wondering what makes Spiderman so succesful compared to everything else in the genre. I like the MCU franchise but I really don't understand what makes this particular character so much more interesting or appealing than all the others, especially to the point of selling that much better?
Spiderman has a lot of comic book fans and especially this movie got him back to what millenials in particular remember of him growing up - solo, street level, college age Peter Parker. (I have not seen the movie yet but the setup from the last one actually upset me because I don't have this nostalgia and I was pissed at his taking away MJ's agency (and his friend's I forget his name)).
The original comic fans have always wanted a good Spidey and they had complaints with both Tobey and Andrew that didn't really exist with Tom. That's my best stab at it anyway
You Can See Everything
We saw everything friday night. Sold out local indie theater.
Everyone one the edge of their seat. Entire audience completely captivated for the entire run time. Loudest gasps were for:
