And now we find out whether or not we need to up the priority of adding spoiler tag support for the site. Thanks! ;)
p.s. Without spoilers (since I haven't seen it yet), has anyone seen this yet? Does it live up to the first one?
It's a ton of fun. Basically think of the first movie but this time with an actual budget. Cable and Domino are both fantastic new additions, and Ryan Reynolds continues to so embody the character of Wade Wilson I'm starting to believe he literally is the character finally having busted down the 4th wall.
Also, while there is no end of credits stinger, there is a mid credits stinger that I laughed at harder than anything else in the movie. That being said, there's a fun song near the very end of the credits that is worth a short wait as well.
Just saw it today, it was great. I would say almost if not as good as the first.
Dammit... Why couldn't you just say it sucked? Now I am going to have to go see it even though I hate going to movie theaters! :P
I REALLY enjoyed Dp2. It's a toss off, uh I mean toss up (little Deadpool humor there) as to if I like it more or less than the first movie.
My son, who is a big comic book movie fan, wasn't as impressed as I am. He felt a lot of the movie was stupid jokes and "like the first one".
But, I'm 48 and he's 28. And I don't watch movie trailers or commercials at all, so I was unbiased going in.
Yeah I have to say I actually enjoyed it as much or maybe even more than the first one. I will admit though I was kinda unimpressed with the first half hour or so before it really took off, but then it was great. I don't want to say too much because it can fairly easily be ruined by spoilers, but it's a good fun movie.
I loved Deadpool 2. I was really worried it wasn't going to live up to the first, but it absolutely did. I don't know yet if I'd say it's better than the original, but it's at least on par with it. Highly recommend seeing it.
Going this weekend, with or without anybody else, I can't deny myself this any longer.
I thought it was really good. Felt much tighter and funnier than the first. 2nd best X-men movie behind Logan
