    Context:
I've been doing some casual study in my free time on ancient history of the middle east. It's difficult to do that for very long without bumping into the mythology and history that make the foundation of some of the world's largest belief systems. I was raised religious—though I no longer am—so a lot of my reading on the material covered in the Old Testament is from a scholarly perspective, for the very first time. I've found myself fascinated with The Exodus in a way I never was before. Thanks to this, and The Algorithm™, YouTube went and reminded me of this film. I haven't thought about The Prince of Egypt in a very long time. Since losing my faith I suppose I discounted it in my memory as a religious film with little to offer. However, after watching this video—and the film again thereafter—I recognize it as a real work of art.

Regardless of your religious beliefs, or lack thereof, I think few would deny that it's objectively a masterpiece of animated storytelling, with an absolute banger of a soundtrack, and explores deeper themes than something on a purely religious level.

Can people not make videos about movies without calling them "forgotten masterpieces" or "underrated" all the time? Just say the movie is good, you don't need to talk about how it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. It's especially annoying when there are thousands of people talking about how "underrated" the movie is, when it clearly isn't.
