Firing James Gunn was the best thing Marvel ever did for the DC movies lol.

Well said. This does not look like a good movie, but it does look like a delightfully stupid and absolutely entertaining movie and sometimes that's all I really want. Two hours to unplug and watch...

Also, no idea who the "Shark Guy" is, but I love him.

Also, if you love him in this, give the new Harley Quinn animated with Kaley Cuoco a try. King Shark features fairly prominently as one of Harleys friends/allies and it seems Gunn has pulled at least some of that version of Shark for his movie.

Beautifully said. The DC movies/shows have been precisely what the "superhero" genre needed. I think everyone has started getting a bit tired of the cookie-cutter productions that are Marvel films...

Beautifully said. The DC movies/shows have been precisely what the "superhero" genre needed. I think everyone has started getting a bit tired of the cookie-cutter productions that are Marvel films after a solid decade. The Harley Quinn solo was great, and I'm happy they're following up on it in theme.

Plus! Peter Capaldi! I'll take anything with him being featured.

I am unironically really really excited for this movie. It feels like it’s going to be a similar feel to Birds of Prey and I loved Birds of Prey. I cannot believe they’ve hooked me back in on this...
