It seems like Don’t Look Up is going to receive a Best Picture nomination despite lukewarm reviews, but it’s not the Best Picture frontrunner I thought it might be. The popular opinion among prediction circles is that either Licorice Pizza or West Side Story will win.
Out of this list the only ones I think probably won’t have a big presence at the Oscars are CODA, Macbeth, and Nightmare Alley. (Though I am still excited to watch both Macbeth and Alley which have yet to be released).
