Hard Normal Daddy, Ultravisitor, Hello Everything, and quite a bit on Just a Souvenir He can get pretty abrasive, especially on the last one I mentioned, but at least superficially I'd say there's a similar vibe.

As far as thoughts about the album, I thumbed through it, and it's got a lot of the sorta musique concrete feeling that is why I recommended those albums, and it floats around between acoustic and electronic composition/manipulation which is always interesting.

Good call on Squarepusher. Some of Aphex Twin's more jazzy glitch/experimental stuff (E.g. Drukqs) may fit the bill to a certain extent too. And speaking of those genres, ~music?tag=experimental and ?tag=glitch are probably also a good place to start looking for similar-ish stuff as well, @ha-iiro. E.g. underscores - skin purifying treatment is composed of very similar elements as the Mid-Air Theif album.

And while not entirely the same, since it's more choral experimental music, Holly Herndon's album PROTO also gives me a similar overall vibe as that Mid-Air Thief album too. But maybe my absolute adoration of Holly Herndon is biasing me there. ;)

Thank you so much, @knocklessmonster, for the recommendation. I totally get how Squarepusher has similar vibes, and you were spot on with the "acoustic and electronic composition/manipulation" because it's actually the thing I really like about Mid-Air Thief.

Also, the closest I had gotten to the electronic/jazz/experimental/breakcore type of music that is in some Squarepusher songs was Hakushi Hasegawa's Somoku Hodo and Air Ni Ni, or even Yellow Magic Orchestra, neither of which may be too related in genre or style but, since I'm just starting expanding my music taste, are kinda a reference point to the music I find interesting. Your recommendations were truly spot on, I'm totally going to look further into the rest of Squarepusher albums.

I found this album some years ago and have come to love it with all my soul. I had never heard something alike. (If you haven't listened to it, I HIGHLY recommend you do it.)

Do you know of any album as beautiful as this one—maybe along the lines of the electronic folk genre?
Also, why not share what you think about this album?
