Any electronic trance genre lovers out there?

I was a huge fan since 2000 listening Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, AvB, ATB and many more.

I was lucky I went to few night events with my favorite DJs and producers. Right now I only listen Aly & Fila and Solarstone.

I haven’t listened in some time (not sure why honestly) but I was/am a big fan of 2000s trance. Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk as you mentioned. Armin Van Buuren, Gabriel and Dresden, Above and Beyond/Oceanlab. I think I gradually stopped listening as harder electronic genres such as dubstep starting popping up around 2010.

I’ll definitely check out the two artists you mentioned. I’d love to get some trance back into my listening!

"L.S.G. – Rendezvous In Outer Space" is one of my favorite albums and I still play it regularly.

I'm not that much into the Trance scene nowadays, but John00Fleming podcasts are really nice.

I'm really enjoying a bit of Tribal Need (Riccardo Moretti) at the minute (https://www.youtube.com/@tribalneed) ... Bought all the albums on Bandcamp, but the live stuff is my preference. Keep an eye out for Techno Gandalf who makes an appearance in a lot of the clips. You'll know who I mean the second you see him in the crowd.

Not really strictly trance, but the genres are a pretty blurry line when it comes to electronic music IMO.

Otherwise Astrix is a favourite. I'm still chasing the dragon trying to find another song that hits like Deep Jungle Walk

I got to see A&B and ATB last year, and Cosmic Gate a few years prior. Trance is a bit less popular today, and I've never liked the housey vibe it progressed toward. I'm not a huge fan of Dash Berlin's latest work (in the end? why?), but I liked Mangoo's comeback a few years back as a throwback (eurodance) & still listen to Gareth Emery's hits from ~2015. Solarstone and A&F are definitely good guilty pleasures haha.

I've mostly been listening to chillstep and instrumentals, as rare as they may be. I feel they connect me best to what trance was. Huge fan of Mitis, Feint, and Blackmill. That plus I still tune into remixes of older songs as they're released. They're 90% not matches for me, but occasionally there's one that isn't to me a rave-ify of a gorgeous melody =)
