Sir Curse's newest single is out! No video this time, as all the budget for that went onto the next single, so keep your eyes peeled for that in autumn :D This one was a lot of fun to compose and record, our engineer had some really cool ideas about getting a good guitar sound, and the multi-tracking sounds absolutely incredible to my ears.
It's also available for streaming porpoises here. Apparently only Spotify has yet uploaded the tune, so if you use another platform you might be SOL for a few more days (what a wonderfully hands off system, it's so nice to not have control over this). That said with my latest anti-streaming rant in mind, unless you want to spin the track 300 times (and not even I want to do that), maybe drop us a pound on Bandcamp?

Sir Curse's newest single Siren is out now to purchase and stream across all platforms!
Says guitarist Billie O'Dwyer "we started writing the music for the song around the time we were playing a Pendulum medley in our set, and we were all feeling the urge to create something of our own with a bit more of a drum and bass influence, but keeping the signature Sir Curse sound all over it." Vocalist Lyndsay Dale adds "Siren is about myths and folklore. When we were writing the song I was reading a book about the Greek goddess Persephone, and I really liked how these dangerous creatures were her companions."
Siren was produced by Adam Bairstow, and mastered by Ben Pike of Rare Tone Mastering. Arwork by Dana Davis.

I somehow missed this bandcamp submission, but I caught the YouTube notification for the music video, and when I was about to submit it I found this topic first. Next time give me a ping please so I'm not months behind again! :)
No fair! I was coming here to scream Liar! To be fair, I'm guessing they didn't 100% plan this video as it looks like a lot of clips instead of their usual polished videos and a bit of a...

To be fair, I'm guessing they didn't 100% plan this video as it looks like a lot of clips instead of their usual polished videos and a bit of a celebration of their Satan's Hollow Battle of the Bands victory!
Yeah, totally unplanned, our singer was bored last week and just decided to knock it together on a whim. We're all actually dead pleased with it, we've had a bloody good summer, and this showcases...

No worries, and TBH the ping probably won't actually necessary since I follow you all on Bandcamp now too, so hopefully I won't miss the next track release. ;)

My bad! The next tune should be out in a few weeks as it goes, but I'll be sure to give you a tag in the post next time (and for any future efforts!)

Yass! Woke up this morning to my Bandcamp email saying a new song dropped. Will be jamming this as soon as the sleep is out of our eyes.
This is great! Really enjoying it.
