Thanks for the recommendation! I'll be checking out Keygen Church tomorrow during work. My favorite Kraftwerk album is Radioactivity, but Computer World felt apropos :).

I love both MBR and Keygen Church. I'm a big fan of the Castlevania series and the music in particular, and Keygen Church is like somebody turned all the dials on those soundtracks all the way to 11.

Keygen Church is by far their best work, been on active rotation for years. MBR is just a genius in their composition and style, which you would think would get 'boring' or repetitive, but somehow they keep the core and keep it interesting every time.

The unsearchable ░█░█░░█░█░█░ is my favorite album as Keygen, and my favorite MBR album has to be Interrupt Request - speaking of which, the idea to turn a vinyl cover into looking like a floppy disk [1, 2] is amazing, hadn't noticed that until now.

Just saying, if you like the work - you should pick up a cassette of it, or even some merch.

I highly recommend MBR to anyone who likes heavier stuff and/or electronic music. In particular it feels like the next logical step from Kraftwerk. I expect a number of Tildren are familiar with this artist but I expect many others would enjoy it.

Having spent many of my formative years dumpster diving for random computer parts, running multiple recovered servers in my bedroom, pushing silicone to its limit in overclock competitions, etc. This aesthetic really speaks to me and I've been listening to MBR a lot more lately.

Bonus: I have a team member who swaps music with me a lot as we share similar tastes in metal. Today I shared Interrupt Request with her and picked up the nickname Mr Krabs for my effort.

Of course my niche music taste would show up here of all places. Love this guy.

Ditto! I love the music, have MBR stickers plastered on all my computing devices, own everything on CD and some on vinyl. And yet I don't consider myself a true MBR fan because I've never really gotten into any of the ARG-type stuff where albums have secret messages to decode and things to find on the various protocols you can connect through to mbrserver.com. Keep thinking some day I'll have time to delve in.

Same here, I would consider myself a major fan, and even though it is right up my alley - I like the fact that I've never cracked them, or looked to see, it's just something to have mystery over.

This is awesome. I don't normally listen to heavier music like this, but it totally reminds me of some video game final boss fight music from the SNES or even Playstation days.

A more modern interface, updated mixes: https://soundcloud.com/markvera/sets/the-percursors-the-ur-quan-masters-mark-vera-mix

Star Control blew my mind with its music. That early MOD scene was something special.
