After a long break the Big Dig is back with a survey of the music behind the iconic jazz photo from 1958, "A Great Day In Harlem." Every song includes at least one musician who appeared in the photo. With great trad jazz, swing, bebop, cool jazz and hard bop, this episode really cooks! Including tracks from Gene Krupa, Lester Young, Charles Mingus, Horace Silver, Gerry Mulligan and much more.

Special thanks to /u/cfabbro for prodding me to get this finished.

p.s. If people enjoy listening to Jazz, I would highly recommend they check out the other episodes. They are all equally fantastic IMO... although the previous episode on coversongs is my personal favorite so far.... I wonder why? :P

Would a Twitter account for the show work for you? That would be easy enough to set up.

I don't do Twitter, and was hoping you had something set up already; I don't want to be a bother.
