p.s. All these years of using YouTube to listen to music and I never knew about music.youtube.com. That's a really awesome interface, which will make it much easier to listen to my playlists and such. Thanks for making me aware of it!

My spouse recently put on OK Go's "Inside Out." It's a very big sound that sounds good on a big sound system.

I saw some people talking about Fiona Apple's newest album: Fetch the Boltcutters in some other thread and the hype convinced me to try it out. (It's definitely out of my normal wheelhouse). I think it is a fantastic album, certainly deserving of the perfect 10 rating that it got from Pitchfork. I'm a fan of "artistic" music, which is a bougie way of saying I like harmonic dissonance and strange sounds in the music I listen to, and this definitely fits the bill. She's able to always make it back to "pleasing music" after a passage through wails, dogs barking and, clashing percusssion, etc. It's great. Highly recommended. I'd say my favorite song from the album is probably "Shameika".

I don't listen to new music when I am depressed and these past few weeks I haven't been actively listening to almost anything.

But today I listened to the Pixelated Audio podcast episode of Kaze no NOTAM. It's pretty good. Super chill tracks with a city pop inspiration.

I wish more people knew what city pop is, and hopefully there can be a legitimate, non-vaporwave revival of the genre.

Been digging The Wrecks - Fuck Somebody. But to be fair, I usually listen to them. They're my favorite band and their debut album comes out next Friday!

I had never heard anything from Joji, but a streamer I follow started listening to this song (Gimme Love) almost every stream and it's quite nice. It's also great to play on Beat Saber!
