FiveThirtyEight May 17th live results: Good news, Madison Cawthorn lost to a primary challenger.
As someone originally from that district, I am surprised but gratified. Dems will almost certainly still lose come fall.
Yeah, there's near zero chance that it goes blue. Cawthorn may be out, but his replacement, Edwards, isn't likely to be any better:
Not entirely good news, he only lost by a few thousand votes, which was a few percentage points of the overall votes.
