This is either a troll post (highly likely imo) or something from someone very young or uninformed. Either way, it's not worth engaging with. I’m trying hard not to sound like the Tildes police...

I’m trying hard not to sound like the Tildes police but let’s remember that content submitted to Tildes should either inform or spark discussion, preferably both. I don’t think this does either.

This is some hilarious clown-ass stuff and the fact that Dualshockers is writing an article about it makes it even more sad and pathetic.

For over a decade Bethesda games have been released on PlayStation. They perform better on PlayStation, run better, and sell better. Xbox and specially Phill Spencer have NO BUSINESS taking them away.

First, Xbox exclusivity would not only hurt PlayStation but also the player base. When a major game like Starfield is only available on Xbox, it limits the player count of the game and stifles the amount of players PlayStation has. This means that now Microsoft can charge higher prices because they dont have competition and take away players from Sony. We CANNOT allow this.

Second, Xbox and its 12 dedicated players do NOT deserve Starfield or any exclusivity. Not only are they arrogant and annoying but since the showcase they have been irritating. Its a psyop. They now purposely spread Starfield news to try and make us PlayStation owners upset.

Third, exclusivity would not be good for Microsoft or Starfield itself. The matter is simple. If it releases on Xbox, its a bad game. If it releases on PlayStation, its a good game. Theres no other way around it. Anyone who says otherwise is spreading fake news. Unless you want to see Starfield fail and be the buggiest worse mess possible, YOU NEED to have it on PlayStation.

I like how it keeps harping on how bad exclusivity is... if it's on Xbox. The argument in that second paragraph feels like it could just as easily apply to Playstation exclusivity. Well, besides...

You know, this reminds me of my middle and high school English classes, where every year starting in fourth grade, we learned about three-point paragraphs and essays. I hated those with a passion because we repeated them every year, to the point that the final one I wrote for class was about how I was sick of them and we didn't need to review them because we all knew the format by heart.

Well, looks like I was wrong and my schools were right to drill that into our heads, because this feels like a horribly written three-point essay. The entire crux of the reasoning is such thinly-disguised distaste for Xbox, I don't think I can even call it "thinly-disguised".

It's extra funny because recent Bethesda games have been worse on PS systems - like, objectively, up to and including lacking features.

This reminds me of high school me arguing with the kid next to me about which was better, Halo or Metroid. Both of us throwing up meaningless arguments because neither of us actually cared and we were just trying to one up each other with the ridiculousness of our next claim.

Edit: Halo:CE will always be the winner to me.
