A fun, short, daily situational update is the Reporting From Ukraine YouTube channel. It is very pro-Ukrainian biased though.

On another note, I am extremely disappointed in the recent poll showing American Ukraine support for arming Ukraine has dipped to something like 35 percent. How far we have fallen. Appeasing dictators in the hope of avoiding further war has always been a poor choice and bad policy.

It’s certainly not helping that the Republican Party is now the party of Putin. They are constantly amplifying Russian talking points to their base.

Do we really still need a weekly "megathread" for this?

As an ongoing issue that's kinda slipped from the spotlight in regular media lately, I think it's a good idea to boost the signal a little bit once a week. What's the harm in that?

No harm at all, just seems a little unnecessary since the last one got 2 comments and so far the only comments on this one are ours discussing if it should exist. Maybe it'd be more fitting if it...

I think yes, there just hasn’t been much notable news since the huge attack in Crimea but it’s still probably the most important geopolitical event happening in the world today.

Weird that Viktor Sokolov has not resurfaced. Judging from the pillows he was propped up on, I’m guessing he is not doing well. Or am I just a victim of wishful thinking?
