My approach is just look at 3 first tasks and focus only on them. I know there are more than these 3, but I know that I'll be overwhelmed if I think about more than these 3 tasks. If any of them feels too big, I divide them or create subtasks. And only these three, not even one more. Just 3.

I also recommend part 1 from previous two years ago 37C3: https://media.ccc.de/v/37c3-12142-breaking_drm_in_polish_trains

    Description of the video:

You've probably already heard the story: we got contracted to analyze a bunch of trains breaking down after being serviced by independent workshops. We reverse engineered them and found code which simulated failures when they detected servicing attempts. We presented our findings at 37C3… and then shit hit the fan.

This talk will be an update about what happened since our 37C3 presentation. We’ll talk about:

    • Three parliamentary workgroup sessions with dirty bathroom photos on Newag’s offtopic slides, train operators revealing that they paid Newag more than 20k EUR for unlocking a single train, which Newag was able to unlock in 10 minutes, and at the same time saying that they don’t know anything about the locks.
    • 140-page lawsuits, accusing us of copyright violation and unfair competition (sic!) with a lot of logical gymnastics.
    • How it’s like to repeatedly explain reverse engineering concepts to journalists.
    • 6 official investigations, two of them criminal.
    • New cases revealed since then (from different train operators).
    • and much more!

Somewhere in between GrapheneOS and LinegageOS lies DivestOS, which afaik is a LOS fork focused on security, hence deblobbed, with many privacy and security features, degoogled with smooth monthly upgrades. Worth looking at in my opinion: https://divestos.org/
    It contains Mull web browser:

Mull is a browser based on Mozilla technology that is hardened against fingerprinting techniques thanks to the Tor uplift project and arkenfox-user.js project.

In particular healthcare if you earn an okay paycheck is just better in big cities than in Sweden in my opinion. Lots of Russians and Ukranians living in EU go home for "medical tourism" because it's just much cheaper and high quality.

I've recently reading more about neurodivergency, adhd, autism and the more I read the stronger I feel I may be somewhere closer on the spectrum. Also, my relative had ADHD diagnosed recently, we think another one also is of this type, etc. So, I've been reading people stories, their struggles etc. and I relate to them very often. I always thought somethig's wrong in me, but now I think it may not be wrong, just different, because all in all, I think I had many successes in my life. Reading about it literally opens my mind and I can finally navigate through days.
There's one of my thoughts - after finishing university I really don't have any goals and purpose to live. It's just day after the day and nothing special happens, no direction, no roadmap, nothing. I've change my field of interest, from music to software development, but have soooo hard time to be motivated to do stuff. I had to go to psychotherapy, psychiatrist, because I felt there's something very wrong here, I thought I have depression or something but sometimes I felt pretty good, so maybe borderline, but then I hear about untreated borderline crazy behavior and no, that's not me. Then I've learny about ADHD, what do they struggle with, and bingo - I share majority of my issues. But still not that, however there are different adhd types, so well, I'll get myself diagnosed to either finally get some modifying therapy or cross out this condition.
So, let's go back to struggling with doing stuff.
    After reading these words

My best advice is to pick something that you can keep itterating on infinitely and keep interesting.

from one of the comments here: https://szmer.info/post/5536442/8027232

    I'll paste my comment:

Now I think that may have been the reason why I finished uni and got a degree.
What I was studying was percussion performance and it’s solely iterative work. You learn something every day, you practice, it’s constantly interesting cause there are so many excercises, so many sheets to read and learn by playing, so many music pieces to learn playing. You add small things to the recipe every practice session, may be every day. You make it interesting all the time. Plus this kind of stress when you’re on a stage, it’s also motivating. And you basically work with kind of a stimulant, which I consider music is. Also you move when you play, another stimulant, you look like a monkey hitting instruments, but it’s actually a performance and people even might enjoy it :D

So, to finally deliver a response to the thread:
I'm ok, in the process of realizing where is all the good and bad stuff coming from and why I feel bad/good in particular situations. Also, in the process of cleaning up my place, my workplace, my whole environment, because I'm veeeeeeeery easily distracted by literally everything.
Back in the days, when I was playing instrument, I was playing instrument, I could literally dive deep in the music and not see anything else around me. Maybe it's a solution, coming back to the previous field, maybe music was the best track for my life and wellbeing and it was very easy to make whole process interesting - every new piece to learn, every new exercise, every new performance - those were actually very visual stages/milestones and deadlines and easy-to-spot progression that was driving curiosity.
Or maybe it's possible to create distraction-free environment to do programming. Maybe I can somehow use some things from IT to mimic and make the process constantly interesting.
I don't know, I think I'll be doing some experiments this year.

I can see that not only children are vulnerable, from my own observations many adults are vulnerable, nobody taught them about technology hygiene, about technology itself etc. Sometimes I observe a friend saying „oh these parents don't care about their children sitting on telephone all the time” but well.. I see that parents also do this. Nobody taught parents, how they are supposed to teach their children?

It's good news, however I'm afraid it's definitely not enough to stop global climate changes. Current private cars, especially big ones, are pretty inefficient regarding pollution, especially in the times we live now. I am happy for every new study like this, but at the same time I'm so angry that not enough money is invested into public transport which is way better tool to fight human-made future catastrophe. There are already much more efficient „electric cars” and they're called trains and trams, they should be given much more love by people.

To be honest, nothing relevant. It was my.second week at new job and together with some things I've got lots of small tasks disrupting my brain focus, some of them are done, some of them wait for the next week. But most important things aren't done. I have to get some furniture to my place cause together with parents and brother we decided to spend Christmas in my place. I'm happy + I'm happy I finally have motivation to make my place more hospitable and useful by buying a table, chairs, bed (two years of sleeping on mattress :P) and so on.
Tomorrow in just before the morning I want to be in a forest, hopefully seeing some deers and drinking good coffee, I've recently started roasting coffee and got pretty excited about it :P
