My parents and older sister are coming to visit so my partner and I deep cleaned the entirety of the house. The robot mop vacuum thing we have really helps out. I'm dreading the entire visit though. Parents are not horrible but its always... a chore to be around them so this weekend I plan on getting everyone boozed up so the visit goes quick.

I've been phasing out read meat and milk from my diet because I gone through years long moderate back acne and since switching it's cleared mostly all of it. Because of that I've incorporated a TON of tofu in my meals. Pressed, fried and marinated in different soy sauces, miso and gochujang. I've basically been cooking vegetarian Korean meals and it's been a blast. As a hispanic I don't understand why Korean food is not more popular with us as they use tons of chili and garlic.

I feel the exact same way as IT Sys engineer, everything feels like one giant puzzle. How do I chain everything together so that multiple security appliances, software, end point management systems, netflix access, laptop provisioning and on boarding is seamless across multiple business? The Imposter syndrome is definitely real but its what also makes things exciting as there's new shit every day and new tech every other day.

Resident cultures "Island Time" a lime mexican lager. Got this bad boy the other day and its amazing, lime flavors, more carbonation than other beers and it's bready. Highly recommend it.

Sweet. Doesn't look too bad. I think I'm holding out on per-ordering. I'll wait for a few patches to fix some of the bethesda jank. I'll eat my words if it's actually relatively problem free.

I didn't realize I grew up watching anime as a 90's kid. YuYu Hakusho, Pokemon, gundam were all shows I attributed to regular cartoons. It wasn't until I watched Evangelion years later that I became interested in anime enough to go looking for more things to watch on the internet.

K-on really open the doors for me though, I used to say I hated the "big-eyed cutsey" looking shows until it changed my mind entirely.

Never in actual public have I been called by my username but it’s been blurred a bit over discord. I’ve got IRL friends whom I game with and will call me sleeper while I call them by their first names in voice chat. I prefer my actual name if the people I meet actually form a friendship outside online communities.
