What else can they do when the US outspends most other countries on military might and acts as a playground bully? Sure they could fire on a warship and start an international incident or even possibly a full out war against the US, but that sounds incredibly stupid as the US has most of the western nations as military allies and would just lead to another possible 10+ year unwinnable ground war that the US is so found of.
Invest in Raytheon I suppose. Forever wars are profitable. To the US' credit, this time it doesn't look like they're the instigators (or even the agitators). They're actually doing a good job...

To the US' credit, this time it doesn't look like they're the instigators (or even the agitators). They're actually doing a good job protecting trade lanes, which is what a self proclaimed "world police" should be doing.

Iran asks the Houthis to attack peaceful cargo ships? Iran sends a warship? Dam the U.S. for starting it all!!! /sarcasm.

How did the US become the bad guy here??
The U.S. doesn't have a good track record in that theater of the world... Afghanistan & Iraq occupations chief among the example cases.
