      The last few frames of the post-explosion before it cuts to the young soldiers face are interesting.

      After the explosion we see some flinching, and then relaxing. Once the woman moves back to her initial position, most everyone on the platform look up. Then a man in uniform moves in from the right, and a man with some kind of barrier comes in from the left. Presumably to move and protect Maduro from what is either incoming debris, or in-case of another attack. The source says multiple drones, which implies a coordinated effort.
      Probably commercial drones with some-kind of explosive attached, one of which seems to have went off prematurely, if I had to guess.

      Three officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case say the incident was actually a gas tank explosion inside an apartment.

      Smoke could be seen coming out of a building window at the site of the incident.

      That certainly explains their facial expressions and body language better than explosive drones would.
