The worriers' way to ruin your own evening.

Everyone, if you've already voted, set down the burden. Politics will still be there in the morning, and you'll know then if you want to be happy or not based on the results. Watching the dial tick back and forth will probably not do you any good. Go, relax, take care of yourself. The work will still be there in the morning.

I'm an avid political observer. Most Australian television channels broadcast "election coverage" shows on the evenings of federal elections. I love watching those shows. It provides me with a whole night's entertainment. I suppose, in a way, it's my equivalent of watching the football Grand Final ("Superbowl" for you Americans!).

Some of us enjoy politics! :)

I enjoy watching it a bit like sports sometimes. I had to turn it off when it became clear that Cruz was getting another term. Too hard to enjoy after that.

I'm glued to the TV/Internet tracking the Beto/Cruz race.....absolutely astonishing how close it is so far.

Florida really hurt, not going to lie, as did the failure of question 1 in Massachusetts. Still a fairly good night though, excited for our new young, progressive representatives to take their seats.
