There's also never been a successful removal of office of a U.S. President before. There have been 4 Presidents who went through the impeachment process:
Bill Clinton was found not guilty (although I think he should have been convicted)
Andrew Johnson was also found not guilty
James Buchanan never even went to trial
Richard Nixon resigned but would have likely been removed from office
Just a nitpick, but technically "being impeached" means that articles of impeachment get voted on by a majority of the House. So only Johnson and Clinton have been impeached.
