Yeah to be honest I don't fully understand it. It almost feels like a rich-hype thing. There's not THAT many advantages attached to NZ citizenship. European citizenship is far more valuable and although it's super frowned upon by the EU, the golden passport scheme is still alive and well via Cyprus and Malta.
