And does anybody know of a good source of context for what's occuring here? A full invasion seems (to my uninformed mind) highly unlikely, but I'm interested to know more about why it's being taken as such a serious threat.
The reason it's being taken so seriously is because Russia did something very similar a few years ago when they annexed the Crimean peninsula from the Ukraine. See: Russo-Ukrainian War - 2014...
