    BoM sure took their time! Pretty frightening really, but as a country we’re still not serious about action on climate change so in a way we deserve some of what’s to come.

      My father in law is part of the RFS as a volunteer. He's got some serious trauma rattling around in his head from the big fires a few years ago, and it's really quite scary to see how unprepared...

        I’ve donated to the RFS yearly since those big fires. If anyone deserves it it’s them. RFS are heroes and I’m not using that lightly. I read that recruitment is down lately. Understandable but...

          You're absolutely right, they are heroes. I love talking to my father-in-law about some of his exploits. He's an proper Aussie, so naturally a windup of a storyteller but he's such a good dude...
