The US has been saying that Europe needs to be more responsible for it's own defense for decades. NATO members are supposed to spend 2% of their GDP on defense, but only 5 member nations regularly meet that requirement. I don't say that as a jab at our European allies, but if they want NATO to be more European centric and take a more active role in their own defense, I don't expect there will be any complaints from the US.

But I still have to pay $40 per audiobook? I'm a huge Brandon Sanderson fan, but that's a huge expense and probably means I'm not going to listen to anymore of his works on audiobook

Every recruiting agency I've ever gone through has completely rewritten the resume that I gave them and put them "in their format". But they've often changed large parts of it, one recruiter had really poor spelling and I had to explain in an interview that the version of the resume they had wasn't written by me. Fuck Robert Half.

That's the way Microsoft does things, 12 ways to do the same thing, 11 of them deprecated. I ran into a similar issue with msonline the other day when I needed to change an attribute in Azure and couldn't find anything documented, but there were 100's of old threads about how to do it using the old msonline method.
