This is one of the best videos that Grady has done yet. It's a good example of how much of our infrastructure was designed using older standards that aren't as robust as they are nowadays. There's only so much retrofitting that you can do before it becomes just too expensive and you have to start over (like Los Angeles did with this power line).
Just figuring out how to rebuild that new line must have been a total nightmare. I mean, just the permitting alone probably took a decade.
