The Browns will win the Super Bowl this year
The Browns have the best receiving corps in the league right now (upgraded from the worst last year), the Browns have a Journeyman QB who doesn't throw picks (Thanks Kizer), and we have a under-study QB who may be franchise QB in the future.
Furthermore, we have a better than average backfield with receiving backs and "downhill" runners (god I hate that term, it's like corporate speak for "let's circle back"....cliche cliche)...
I was really hoping the Browns would pick up Alex Smith in free agency. I think he would have done a great job of avoiding turnovers (lol Browns), and been a great mentor for whoever you drafted at QB so they could sit a year or two a la Aaron Rodgers. I do think Baker Mayfield at #1 was a stretch, as I think you should have gone BPA at #1, then drafted best QB available with your next pick.
Until proven otherwise, the Patriots are the favorites in the AFC, in my opinion. Definitely rooting for the Browns to do well though!
I'll believe it when it happens. And not a moment sooner.
Don't worry they'll find a way to mess it up. Just think about it like every game ever where they went into the half up a couple TDs.
Yeah, if their players ever stop sitting around and start playing the game! The Kneeling-Mania is getting out of hand.
I'd love to see it happen, but I have zero faith in the coaching staff/front office. Until hue is gone, they're gonna be bottom dwellers
