If you weren't following the last season of the Premier League there was a huge showdown between Arsenal and Manchester City (not United) over who would win the title. If you were following you were hanging on the result of every game. My RSS reader insisted that I liked articles about soccer. I didn't agree at first but this epic fight proved it was right and I was wrong... So this game, at the beginning of this season, was a major grudge match.

Of course The Guardian can't write just one article about a big game, this article talks about the stoppage time at the end

There was almost as much stoppage in the Newcastle-Aston Villa game that I caught on NBC this Saturday though. In the US we get a Premier League game on OTA television which I'll recommend even if my RSS reader doesn't just yet.
