Miami's high line leaves them vulnerable to counters (Nashville's specialty along with set-pieces), while Nashville's mid block is disciplined and lethal if Mukhtar can get on the ball.
I knew Messi wouldn't get many touches, but all he needed was a sliver of an opening to curl the opening goal. What a treat to watch him play. Inter Miami has become must-watch TV. The near-makes from Messi, Cremaschi, and Campana at the end had me feeling like Nashville was destined to win, but I was elated when Callender drilled his PK and coldly strutted to the line to make the stop on Panicco's attempt.
It's been a bumpy 3.5 years following IMCF and it feels like things are finally looking up.

I'm still trying to figure out who my team is going to be. I have roots in Dallas but am in Houston now.
WRT this particular match, I found myself rooting for Nashville. Actually, I was rooting for "an amazing performance by Messi with a close win by Nashville" because I was starting to find myself afraid that the ongoing Inter Miami slaughterfest would weaken peoples' perceptions of the MLS. I also like when any USMNT succeeds and Zimmerman has just been clinical. In the end, I got all I was hoping for. That was thrilling to watch, as have many of the games in this tournament.
An opportunity to root for Shaffelburg’s mullet should never be passed upon. As a Nashville fan, this was absolutely a fantastic game, and although I’m sad they didn’t claim the title, what an...

What an amazing shoot-out! Goalie on goalie action to end an epic league cups final
